MEMBERSHIP IN THE AMERICAN GUILD OF ORGANISTS
Joining the National AGO and Nashville AGO chapter supports organ and choral music in Middle Tennessee. Additional benefits include:

We encourage you to be a part of our chapter and the national AGO as the dues help to undergird outstanding organ and choral events along with resources for you both locally and nationally. Dues are paid to the National Office using iMIS, an online system that allows both new and renewing members to pay their dues using a credit card. A discount of $8 is available to Regular, Special, and Young Organist members who elect not to receive printed copies of TAO. Members can use iMIS to update their personal information, print an invoice, search for Guild members and make contributions to designated funds, both national and local. Also, you may pay your dues by mailing a check and invoice to National Headquarters. The membership year for new members begins in the month in which dues are first paid and extends for twelve months.
The National Office offers memberships in the following categories: Regular Voting Member (ages 30-64), Special Voting Member (ages 65 and over), and Young Organist Member (under age 30). Though national no longer offers Chapter Friend memberships, the Nashville Chapter will continue to offer them through our website. Plus, the Nashville Chapter has a special initiative for Young Organist members who are elementary through college age attending either a school or homeschooled in the Middle Tennessee region. Joining the Nashville AGO Chapter as a Chapter Friend
Even if you are not an organist, but enjoy organ and choral music, we hope you will consider being a chapter friend of Nashville AGO. Your membership supports our local chapter in its endeavors. Additionally, you will receive our Pipelines newsletter, have access to our resource section on our website, and be part of a community of friends who love and enjoy organ and choral music. Joining the National AGO and Nashville Chapter AGO through the chapter’s Young Organist Initiative
The Nashville Chapter of the AGO has begun several initiatives to encourage young organists to be an active part of our chapter. One of the initiatives is offering to pay the dues for membership in the national and Nashville Chapter of the AGO. If you have an interest in organ, either studying the organ or hope to do so, and are of elementary, high school, or college age either being homeschooled or attending school in the middle Tennessee area, you qualify for our Young Organist initiative. Young Organist Member – Under Age 30 - $60 ($52 without printed TAO)
Regular Dual Voting Member – 2nd chapter or more - $45
Special Dual Voting Member – 2nd chapter or more - $35

Chapter Friend, Nashville Chapter – non-voting - $45
Lifetime Membership - $3,500
