Contributions are tax-deductible. 

There are three areas that you can donate:

Endowment Fund (Restricted Principal) - Please consider a donation to the Nashville Chapter Endowment Fund. These gifts are invested and the earnings are used to support the work of the Guild through programming or educational initiatives. 

Discretionary Fund (Non-Restricted Principal) - Another way of supporting the work of the Nashville Chapter is a donation to the Discretionary Fund. Gifts to this fund are available in their entirety, both principal and earnings, for programming or educational initiatives at the discretion of the Executive Committee. 

General Fund (Chapter Expenses) - Donations in this category are intended for use during the current fiscal year (July 1 - June 30). Donors may optionally designate their gift for a specific program or educational initiative which has been planned by the Program Committee for the upcoming year. If none is specified the gift will be used in support of the chapter's approved budget expenses.  

 You may make contributions 3 different ways:

-through the AGO national's website with a credit card
-through our website with a credit card

Donating by check
This will save the chapter credit card fees allowing your full gift to go to the chapter. On the check’s memo line, indicate if it is for the Endowment Fund, Discretionary Fund or General Fund.

AGO national’s website
If you are an AGO member, you may also save the chapter the credit card fees by donating through the AGO national website. You will need your AGO member ID. This may be done by going to www.agohq.org. Then log into your account. Choose “make a contribution” and scroll down where you will see"Contribute to Chapter Funds"..Please consider a donation to our chapter. Your gift is used to support the work of the Guild through programming or educational initiatives.

Your donation to our chapter’s funds is much appreciated and needed. They help to promote outstanding organ and choral music in our area.

Total donations to Chapter Expenses and the Endowment Fund during one Fiscal Year (July 1st through June 30th) will be recognized on our printed programs according to the following categories:

Supporter ($1 - $49)
Donor ($50 - $99)
Patron ($100 - $499)
Sustainer ($500 - $999)
Benefactor ($1,000 +)
